Privacy notice

1. Who we are

Luxury Rental Management ("we", "us"), operating in San Miguel de Allende, Guanajuato, Mexico, is responsible for your personal data under Mexico's Federal Law on the Protection of Personal Data (LFPDPPP). Contact: stays@luxrentalmgmt.com.

2. Data we collect

Contact and stay details you provide when booking or inquiring: name, email, phone/WhatsApp, language, stay dates and details, and any messages you send us.

Technical data when you accept the Terms at checkout: IP address, browser (user-agent), and timestamp, retained as evidence of your acceptance.

We do NOT receive or store your card details: payments are processed directly by Stripe (PCI DSS certified).

3. Why we use it

Primary purposes: managing your reservation and payments, coordinating your arrival and stay, providing concierge services you request, sending confirmations and stay communications, and meeting legal obligations (including guest registration where applicable).

Secondary: replying to your inquiries and, only if you contacted us, following up on your interest.

Marketing and advertising, ONLY if you tick the optional box when you contact us: sending you occasional offers, and measuring and targeting our own ads. It is optional, you get the same service if you leave it unticked, and you can withdraw it at any time by the route in section 5.

We do not sell your data.

4. Sharing

We share data only with the providers needed to operate your booking: Stripe (payments), our property-management and messaging systems (to coordinate your stay), and transactional email services. All act on our behalf under confidentiality obligations.

If, and only if, you gave marketing consent, we also share an irreversibly encrypted (hashed) form of your email or phone with Meta Platforms (Facebook and Instagram), along with your IP address, browser and the page you visited, to measure and target our own ads. We never send them your name, your messages, or your stay details. Without that consent, your data is not transferred for advertising.

5. Your rights (ARCO)

You may exercise your rights of Access, Rectification, Cancellation, and Objection, or withdraw consent, by writing to stays@luxrentalmgmt.com with the subject "ARCO rights". We respond within the legally required timeframes.

6. Retention & security

We keep your data as long as needed for the purposes above and applicable legal/tax obligations, protected by reasonable administrative and technical measures.
