“Be aware: while this property is exactly as pictured, our stay was extremely disappointing.
We lost electricity intermittently for nearly a full day, beginning around 4–5 a.m. and lasting into the evening. There was no hot water, air conditioning, internet, or ability to cook. The listing has a disclaimer about issues that can occur because San Miguel de Allende is an older city, but this was not a citywide outage. Residents nearby confirmed that the surrounding area had power and that the issue appeared specific to the building.
The primary bathroom also had a severe sewage odor, requiring us to keep the door closed with towels under it. The shower leaked water across the entire bathroom floor.
LRM was responsive but offered no meaningful solution or accommodation. We requested a one-night refund and were denied. Because the property lacked basic amenities for most of the day, we had to leave and spend the day else where.
Based on our experience, we would not stay here again.”

“Simply cannot say enough. There are so many places in SMA. What stood out with this one:
*LRM responsiveness and help, including arranging travel to/from airport at a decent price with an outstanding driver (Jose).
*SMA is very hilly. We looked at many places and landed here, TG! Easy walking right out of the door. Couldn't beat the proximity to Jardin and from there just about anywhere else.
*The size of the place. What a treat!! Huge closest, bathrooms, living area, etc.
*The cleanliness. You can tell they really clean it thoroughly.
*The rooftop views. Unbeatable.
