“Several issues affected our stay. Hot water was unavailable for the full duration of the trip; we reported this multiple times, and although a few repair visits were made, the issue was not resolved. Wifi only worked in the kitchen and living room of the main house. The casita, where two guests in our group needed to work remotely, had unreliable internet, requiring them to use a paid coworking space in town for calls. The casita bedroom also had a mosquito problem, traced to screen doors that had been left open prior to our arrival. Additionally, the washer in the casita was leaking and the dryer was non-functional. When we contacted the host about these issues, we were offered complimentary housekeeping and a breakfast rather than compensation for the problems experienced.”
