“We’ve stayed at Le Cottage properties several times. The apartments are well designed and decorated and in a great location to take advantage of all that San Miguel offers. Assess is easy and there is a security guard during the day. It’s great to have a washer/dryer in the unit. Air conditioning worked well and the fireplace is great to take the chill off in the evenings and add a nice ambience. We are usually quite happy there but in this particular unit we had a couple of issues that made it less than a perfect stay: 1) the bed is exceptionally hard - just a thick mattress on a platform; a softer topper would make it much more comfortable for sleeping; 2) there are no blackout shades or blackout curtains in the bedrooms and given there are lights directly outside, it was impossible to sleep without eyeshades. Overall, because of both these issues, we slept poorly all week. If these issues were addressed it would be a 5 star property.”
